Mountain Ma’am | The Feral Alchemist ultimately is the blending of a healing practice rooted in land, body, and remembrance, and a place of nourishment focused on the ancient healing properties of sourdough.
Our services are for those seeking clarity, restoration, and reconnection – through practices that honor the nervous system, the subtle body, and the wisdom already living within you .
Here, healing is slow, intentional, and deeply human. There is room for grief, and joy, stillness, and wildness, mystery, and grounded presence. But that is not all…
The healing work of Mountain Ma’am also extends into the kitchen; offering a source of gentle nourishment, and subtle alignment from within.
The provisions created from the wild & feral yeast contained in our sourdough offers benefits to the body on its own, but our starter and each baked item is further enhanced with the high vibrational energy of Reiki. Not by invocation, but through the natural healing intention of a Reiki Master Practitioner.
All of the work and offerings here draw from Universal Life Force Energy, and intuition as a means of exploring, and enhancing the deeper threads of self, and holistic wellbeing.
From time to time, and with the seasons, The Feral Alchemist also offers feral ritual art – spirit animal pieces crafted from ethically sourced bones and antlers – created as objects of reverence, remembrance, and connection to the natural cycles of life and death.
As a hunter and a healer, there is a great honoring of both the animals themselves, and their Spirit. Some come to be represented in art, and others come to be used as ritualistic tools for healing or protection.
This is not a place for performance, perfection, or spiritual bypassing. It is a place to come as you are, to see and be seen.

My name is Kaya,
I am the hands and heart behind Mountain Ma’am.
I am a Reiki Master, Tarot reader, Yoga Teacher and guide for those moving through transition. My work is rooted in somatic awareness, intuition, and lived experience – not dogma or rigid belief systems.
I believe the body remembers what the mind forgets.
I believe healing happens when we listen rather than force.
I believe the wild and the gentle are not opposites, but partners.
My path has been shaped by deep listening – to the land, to the body, to the quiet truths that surface when we slow down enough to hear them. Whether I am holding space in a Reiki session, offering a Tarot reading, crafting ritual art, or creating nourishment through my sourdough recipes, my intention is always the same: to help you reconnect with what you already know.
